Revolver
In the winter of 2024, I went to the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam to check out the Marina Abramovic exhibition. While i was there i visited the Martin Wong exhibition, and I really liked it. His work really stood out and has a bunch of recurring themes which are still very topical i think.
The way he draws revolvers really caught my eye. It’s super interesting and kind of beautiful. I wanted to recreate that style in a way that stays true to the themes he cared about.
