When i watched Her i was completely entranced by the art design of the movie. It felt like it was made for me at the time. I especially loved the OS1 loading screen animation. So simple and elegant and a great practice to try and recreate it.
This was my first shot at it and it was based on a wallpaper i found on the internet.
I really wasn't happy with my first try. It didn't look enough like the part of the animation i liked so much so i started over.
My second try at recreating the Her OS1 Loading screen was way better. This was a little bit trickier but eventually i got there. The smoothness of it and the subtle fade to the background really sell the piece.
