After seeing an amazing drawing by Alex Kiesling of a simple bird i tried to make my own version of it in 3D. It didn't really turn out how I wanted it to turn out so I just shelved it.
A year later I opened the file again and tried to salvage it but in the end I decided to start from scratch.

When i made this, it was pretty cold outside and i saw some ducks huddled up together to keep warm. I really wanted to create a fuzzy woolly scarf and decided to try out Marvelous Designer again. I also used Xgen for the fibres on the scarf.
